In its own private valley, Avaleigh Elms Farmstay is situated on their picturesque cattle property on the Tablelands Way, west of the Blue Mountains.
With two bedrooms accommodating four people, the cosy cottage has a well equipped kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, stove and microwave. There is an outside gas barbecue on the lovely sheltered porch facing north to catch the sun.
There is a slow combustion fire in the cottage for when the weather turns chilly. All beds have electric blankets.
The farm animals, including two donkeys, a sheep and two alpacas welcome a friendly pat and something wholesome to eat, like a piece of carrot. Pet friendly.
Avaleigh Elms Farmstay is close to Jenolan Caves, Mayfield Garden, Kanangra Walls and Abercrombie Caves. The neighbouring pine forest is a lovely place to walk, cycle or hunt for mushrooms and blackberries when they're in season. Fossick for sapphires nearby as well.
