It is not a holiday camp nor a luxury resort, it is however, very supportive, comfortable and serene in it's natural seclusion. We invite you to cleanse your mind, body and soul. A large comfortable two story cottage accommodates our guests (a maximum of eight guests), with 10 hectares of gardens and natural bush lands for recreation.
Tastefully decorated, the cottage has a comfortable and tranquil ambience. Views from the lounge room and verandah overlook extensive bushland to the South with a distant ridge of gum trees on the horison. Basic kitchen ammenities are available but primarily cater for a range of herbal teas only. Otherwise all refreshments are taken at the reception cottage.
Recreational facilities available during your stay include; swimming pool, tennis court, work out room, spa, sauna and plunge pool, also indoor and outdoor dining, bush walking tracks, lake and island for swimming, meditation and relaxation.
Whats in a typical Health Retreat Day?
On Arrival - Participants are weighed, measured, and tested for blood pressure before they begin any activities. They are also questioned about previous health history, allergies, injuries.
Bushwalks: There are 2 - 3 bushwalks a day, 1- 7 kms long, depending on level of fitness.
Breakfast Yoga, Pilates/Stretching & Relaxation: Usually practiced after spa, sauna & plunge.
Nutrition Talks: Informative talks on nutrition usually after breakfast.
Low Impact Aerobics & Water Aerobics (Summer only) Swimming: In the Health Retreats Dam set in a clearing offering wonderful views across the valley or if you prefer not to swim in the Dam you can opt for the Spa Bath, Sauna and Plunge Pool.
Spa Bath, Sauna, Cold Plunge Pool: All of these are housed in a rustic style shed surrounded by various types of flora and fauna.
Lunch Optional Therapies: Swedish Massage, Lymphatic Massage, Facials, Reflexology, Naturopathy & Iridology (available on Wednesdays only). These are provided at an extra cost (One therapy of choice is included in the 'One Day Pamper Package').
