Ticket desk was accommodating to my late change request. Boat Captain was terrific and informative on the tour. Plenty of room on the cruise. Option for tea and coffee on boat as well

We went on the two hour cruise both ways from Southbank Berth 2 Peter was the captain and did a fantastic commentary on both parts of the cruise covering the historic and political topics of the various parts of the river He was spot on very knowledgeable and also funny made many of us laugh his wit commenting on the political aspe ts was spot on Only comment was that the cruise advertised tea and coffee and it was not offered maybe we needed to ask?

The tour guide was terrible, he was an embittered, who didn’t even tried to make people have a good time. The tour in general mostly focuses on the industrial part of Melbourne not in the city itself which is not interesting and relevant for most of the tourists.

First they arrived 15 minutes late that ment that the other group got a hour and 15 min tour , which means we got a 45 min tour instead of one hour so they would stay on time. Doesnt matter so much because there was nothing to see and the crew was bored, one of them almost fell asleep on a chair on the way back , not worth the money.

The trip was overpriced, the captain’s commentary was lacklustre and to top it all he requested that we (the only 2 remaining passengers on the boat) disembark with everyone else at a stop earlier than where we got on citing a failed engine. 10 mins later we watched the boat chug past us with no sign of any problem. Not impressed 🤬

The boat was old and not very clean or inviting. The voice documentary was of a very poor quality. E were inside and didn’t understand a word. Not that they could help this one bit the river was very dirty. I wouldn’t do it again.

A fun way to start a visit to Melbourne, and get a nice introduction to the City. They cruise you through the heart of the CBD, down to the Port/Docklands, with witty tour guide banter along the way. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed it (far more than I’d expected them to), and may have picked up some fun facts — mostly true — along the way.

i thoroughly enjoyed the hour round to Docklands even though the weather wasn't perfect. The only thing that would have made the journey complete and more informative would have been if there was a running commentary of the history of the various sites and some history of the past along the waterways. There is so much that could have been said to put it in perspective.

The cruise departed at 7pm for a 2 hour cruise and fireworks display. Found the boat easy to locate , staff were friendly and plenty of seating on board. Music and lights on board to add to the atmosphere. We cruised along seeing the lights of Melbourne before returning to Southbank to watch the fireworks from the boat once the glass roof was retracted. What a wonderful experience in Melbourne.

Took the grandkids, 11 and 9, on this cruise. They really enjoyed it. Seeing the bridges from underneath, the big ships in the docks and the beautiful yachts. Comfortable and the captains commentary was very informative. Good family pricing too.
