Book Direct with the Owner at Historic Stannum House with Accommodation in Bendigo in Tenterfield, for all your Attraction and travel needs.
Stannum House is currently closed due to COVID-19. Stannum House is a Victorian Italianate mansion, built in the late 1880s with no expense spared. The three-storey villa has four grand guest rooms upstairs and three display rooms on the ground floor which are packed with Victorian antiques. Follow in the footsteps of great Australians such as Sir Henry Parkes, Banjo Paterson, and Dame Nellie Melba, who have all graced the halls of this historic house. Guests are given a full tour of the house. The rooms have been fully restored to their former glory, with decorative artwork on the walls and ceilings, beautiful carpets and drapes, Italian marble fireplaces, and fine furniture. Sixteen foot high ceilings complement the dimensions of the rooms perfectly. All timber in the house is local red cedar except for the Kauri Pine floors. The piece-de-resistance is the spiral staircase leading to the third floor attic and roof garden. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is also available at the property, and you are welcome to come for a tour, even if you are not staying at Stannum House....Accommodation in Bendigo welcomes Historic Stannum House, the ideal Tenterfield NSW Holiday outlet for all the family to enjoy.
