Crocodylus Park is a best place to come face to face with the largest reptiles on the planet. Built upon 30 years of experience in crocodile research and conservation, Crocodylus Park plays host to over a thousand crocodiles from 30 centre meters long hatchlings to massive adults measuring over 4.8 meters and weighing more than half a ton.
Go along for the crocodile feeding tours at 10am, 12 noon, 2pm and 3.30pm and you may have a chance at feeding one of the big guys then hold a baby croc.
Their diverse array of other wildlife, including big cats, primates, birds and other reptiles, ensure the crocodiles don't steal all the limelight.
Crocodylus Park is part of Wildlife Management International (WMI), an Australian wildlife research and consulting company with over 30 years of national and international experience in all aspects of wildlife research, conservation, management and sustainable use. Professor Grahame Webb, one of Australia's better-known zoologists, established WMI in 1978. In 1994, WMI opened Crocodylus Park, and although it started as a crocodile research and education centre, it has now expanded to become one of Darwin's zoos with exotic and native animals.
